Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for Florida’s 13th district, shared several updates on social media regarding community support and legislative initiatives. Luna, who took office in 2023, has been active in addressing both local and national issues.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Luna informed homeowners in Pinellas County about FEMA Mitigation staff being available at Lowe’s in St. Petersburg until February 1 to provide advice on strengthening homes against future storms. The event was scheduled at "2365 25th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713" from "Saturday 7:30 am-1:00 pm." "To all homeowners in Pinellas County: FEMA Mitigation staff are at Lowe’s in St. Pete until tomorrow (Feb. 1), offering tips to build back stronger against future storms."

Later that evening, Rep. Luna announced the introduction of the RULES Act to address asylum system abuse. This legislative proposal serves as a companion bill to one introduced by Senator Bernie Sanders and aims to reform current asylum procedures. "BREAKING: Rep.
