Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congress representative for Florida's 13th district since 2023, has recently shared three impactful messages on social media. Luna, who succeeded Charlie Crist and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, uses her platform to address various issues, from tragedies affecting her community to honoring veterans and critiquing political peers.

On April 17th, Luna communicated her support for victims and families affected by a recent incident at Florida State University, stating, "Our hearts are heavy today as we stand in solidarity with the victims and families affected by this senseless tragedy at Florida State University ". This message reflects her empathy and solidarity with those impacted by the event.

Later that day, she reported her participation in welcoming veterans on an Honor Flight of West Central Florida. Luna remarked, "Honor Flight of West Central Florida opened their 2025 season with Mission 52 Tuesday night at St Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Team Luna was there to greet the 77 veterans that deplaned after a day long visit to Washington, DC. It was an honor to give these veterans". Her involvement underscores her commitment to acknowledging and valuing the service of military veterans.

On April 18th, in a more critical post, Luna questioned political affiliations with the statement, "Do you represent Maryland or MS-13? Lately it’s hard to tell.". This tweet suggests a rebuke aimed at a political issue, demonstrating her willingness to engage in political discourse.

Congresswoman Luna, age 33, was born in Santa Ana, California, and is a University of West Florida graduate as of 2017. She is also a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida.
