Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 13th district, has voiced her concerns through social media regarding several political issues. Luna replaced former Congressman Charlie Crist in 2023 and has been an active participant in legislative discussions.
On March 24, 2025, Luna expressed her frustration with congressional leadership. She stated that "Leadership continues to drag its feet on addressing or codifying any of President Trump’s executive orders, yet they’re moving very quickly to block parents from having a voice in Congress." She further mentioned her exclusion from the Armed Services Committee despite being a female representative.
Later the same day, Luna addressed allegations made against Republicans regarding social security and healthcare programs. She tweeted, "The left-wing lying about Republicans wanting to cut social security, medicare and medicaid is just political theater designed to make you forget how dysfunctional their policies are and how historically unpopular they are." She emphasized the Republican stance of protecting social safety nets.
On March 25, 2025, Luna highlighted the case of John Chapman concerning his recognition at the Medal of Honor Museum. She remarked that "This is John Chapman. The man that was not given a proper recognition at the medal of honor museum because of politics," advocating for honoring Chapman's sacrifice as requested by over 20,000 Americans.
