Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida's 13th district, recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Luna, who succeeded Charlie Crist in 2023, has been vocal about her concerns and initiatives.
On March 11, 2025, Luna questioned the lack of charges against those involved with Jeffrey Epstein. She expressed concern over the Department of Justice's communication with Congress regarding this matter. "If justice is truly blind, where are the charges for the conspirators ref Jeffrey Epstein? Should this not be a top priority? I find it alarming that Congress has gotten almost no communication from the DOJ or updates regarding the matter other than 'reviewing documents.'"
Later that day, Luna discussed her recent meeting with Pinellas County officials about hurricane preparedness and their plans to request expedited support for the Florida Shore Protection Project from President Trump. "Last week, I had the opportunity to meet with Pinellas County Commissioners Kathleen Peters and Chris Scherer, as well as County Administrator Barry Burton. We discussed hurricane season prep and agreed to ask President Trump to expedite the Florida Shore Protection Project."
In another tweet on March 11, 2025, Luna praised former President Trump's actions towards preventing global conflict. She described his leadership as exemplary in averting potential war scenarios. "President Trump may have just taken the first step toward preventing World War III. This is what real leadership looks like."
