After tending the garden, now it's time to reap the harvest.
St. Petersburg Deputy Mayor Stephanie Owen, in the green dress, and Ofc. Jake Yancey of the SPPD mounted patrol unit were among those who attended a fresh market event hosted by the St. Pete Youth Farm this past weekend.
Founded in 2019, the St. Pete Youth Farm helps to provide future community leaders with the knowledge and skills to grow and produce nutritious fruits and vegetables in parts of South St. Petersburg.
The St .Pete Youth Farm is located at 1664 12th St. S.
