Woodlawn Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
It was quite an adventure for our 2nd grade leaders! They’ve been learning about Westward Expansion so today they culminated their learning by taking a covered wagon ride on the Oregon Trail, powering Fulton’s steamboats, working together to build the Transcontinental Railroad, and delivering mail on The Pony Express.
Thanks to all our volunteers who made it happen.
