Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, expressed concerns over USAID's operations in a series of tweets. Luna has been serving in Congress since 2023 and has a background that includes prior service in the Florida House of Representatives.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Luna criticized USAID by stating "USAID has completely lost the trust of the American people." She referenced allegations made by Mike Benz regarding USAID's involvement in corrupt activities aimed at destabilizing nations using race wars, funded by taxpayers' money. She accused the agency of failing to acknowledge its own misconduct.

Later on the same day, she continued her critique by claiming that "USAID is actively destabilizing nations without any oversight from Congress or the president." She emphasized that these revelations were significant and questioned why Americans should continue to fund what she termed as corruption.
