On February 5, 2025, Rep. Luna expressed concern over the influx of fentanyl into the United States from China. She stated that "Chinese fentanyl pouring into our country is a direct threat to our national security. We will hold the CCP accountable and end the flow of deadly drugs by any means necessary."

Later that day, she celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day by highlighting an executive order signed with President Biden to prevent men from competing in women's sports.
