Luna, who replaced Charlie Crist in 2023 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, is known for her active engagement on social media platforms.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Luna criticized large corporations for their role in adding harmful chemicals to food products. She stated that "large corporations are not being held accountable for adding harmful chemicals to our food for the sake of profit."
