St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on Mar. 04.
Roberts Recreation Center created a Black Inventors Mini Museum for visitors to enjoy. This mini display packed in lots of little known information about the Black inventors responsible for devising so many items we depend upon and use every day.
Some examples: traffic signals and crosswalk signs, refrigerators, blood pressure cuffs, almanacs, and the ice cream scoop, just to name a few!
