Woodlawn Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
We couldn’t let National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day pass without recognizing the B to the E to the S to the T school resource officer in the world, Officer Diego! His love for our school and students, as well as his passion to ensure we are all safe every single day, is second to none.
We are forever grateful for him and all he does. He truly is The Woodlawn Way.
