Greater Pinellas Point Civic Association issued the following announcement on Jan. 12. 

On behalf of our Officers, Board of Directors and members, THANK YOU St. Petersburg Police Department for your generous support of our neighborhood schools pantry project! The annual SPPD Forfeiture Fund program provides grants to organizations who create eligible programs that address neighborhood safety, to include crime and drug prevention.
