Florida Suncoast Sierra Club recently issued the following announcement.
This year, Candidate Eunic Ortiz is joining forces with community organizations, DECF, FCV and Sierra Club to take action in our shared vision of a cleaner, waste-free world, and you are invited, too!
World Cleanup Day is one of the the world’s largest one-day civic actions and engaged more than 8.5 million people in 191 countries in 2021. This occasion allows volunteers, governments and organizations to come together in efforts to embrace sustainability and tackle global waste.
We’ll be canvassing to support Eunic. Canvassing materials will be provided. You’re encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated and reduce plastic waste.
