St. Petersburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Jul 15.
Congratulations to 13 new St. Petersburg Police Officers!
The ceremony was special for all. It was also very cool to have two brothers and the daughter of a retired officer become police officers!
Thank you to Mayor Ken Welch for his words of encouragement and support, Judge Keith Meyer for presiding, and the attendance of City Council Members, and Fire Rescue Chief Large and his staff.
