Florida hits record for child drownings in 2021
22 of the 98 child drowning deaths in 2021 happened at homes in the Tampa Bay area, according to state data. [Fox 13]
Summer is fast approaching and that typically means kids having fun at the beach and swimming pools. When you say Florida, you say WATER! All kids in the state need skills to safely engage in water activities. The City of Saint Petersburg St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation division operates the city’s swimming pools. Now is the time to explore their water safety programs.
