Woodlawn Elementary School issued the following announcement on Nov. 04.
Today our 2nd graders culminated their learning on Ancient Greece and the Greek Myths. Students participated in their own Olympics by competing in six challenges. There was the foot race, chariot race, the discus throw, the javelin throw, archery, and the long jump.
Students were decked out in tunics and olive leaf wreaths. It was a great day to be an eagle.
