Home prices increased in St Petersburg during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in St Petersburg rose by $37,300 while total sales increased by 26.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 441 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 17.5% increase over the $212,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 349 homes sold in St Petersburg in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in St Petersburg for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,746, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
