2020: St Petersburg experienced a 16.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in St Petersburg rose by $33,050 while total sales decreased by 81.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 1,437 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 16.8% increase over the $196,950 median sale price for the previous year. There were 7,848 homes sold in St Petersburg in 2019.

The median sales tax in St Petersburg for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,746, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for 2020.
