The second half of 2020: St Petersburg experienced a 18.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in St Petersburg rose by $37,000 while total sales decreased by 81%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 777 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 18.7% increase over the $198,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 4,094 homes sold in St Petersburg in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in St Petersburg for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,746, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
