Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, has recently expressed her concerns over constitutional issues and justice matters via social media. She replaced Charlie Crist in 2023 and has a background in the Florida House of Representatives.
On May 20, 2025, Rep. Luna addressed the conviction and sentencing of Tory Lanez, highlighting several constitutional concerns: “Tory Lanez’s conviction and sentencing raise major constitutional concerns: – First Amendment (use of lyrics as evidence) – Sixth Amendment (right to confrontation) – Fourteenth Amendment (equal protection under racially biased enhancements) These issues demand urgent review.”
In another post on the same day, she emphasized the importance of due process and fair treatment in legal proceedings, stating that “Justice isn’t served when due process is ignored, evidence is mishandled, and race plays a role in sentencing. Tory Lanez deserves a fair hearing—and if justice prevails, he deserves his freedom. Free Tory Lanez.” She directed this message to California’s governor.
Later that day, Rep. Luna shared information about an ongoing governmental hearing related to historical documents: “WATCH: The JFK Files Hearing Part 2 w/ the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets https://t.co/ZwN0gg5oFC”
