Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 13th district, announced on social media that she would join Governor Ron DeSantis for a press conference focused on banning congressional stock trading and later commented on the state of the U.S. immigration system.

On January 6, 2026, Luna posted, “Tomorrow morning, I’ll be joining @GovRonDeSantis for a press conference. Tune in! You won’t want to miss this. “.

Later that day, she followed up with another post: “Watch my Press Conference with @GovRonDeSantis on banning Congressional Stock Trading LIVE https://t.co/gyJQCOYEUU”.

In a separate tweet from January 6, 2026, Luna addressed immigration issues by writing: “Our immigration system is BROKEN and being exploited. Minnesota’s Somali fraud scandal is a microcosm of nationwide abuse. Corrupt politicians looked the other way to protect voter blocs. Taxpayers get robbed. Citizens lose representation. Time for an IMMIGRATION MORATORIUM:”

Anna Paulina Luna has served as the representative for Florida’s 13th District in Congress since 2023 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. She was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg. Luna graduated from the University of West Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
