Luna has been serving in Congress since 2023, following her tenure in the Florida House of Representatives.
On May 7, 2025, Rep. Luna announced the introduction of the “American Privacy Restoration Act,” aimed at fully repealing the Patriot Act and removing mass surveillance powers from intelligence officers. She noted that since the USA Patriot Act’s passage after 9/11, intelligence agencies have wielded extraordinary powers.

Anna Paulina Luna was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and now resides in St. Petersburg. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida.
