She tweeted: “Yellow 5, aka tartrazine, is a synthetic dye originally derived from coal tar—the same stuff used to pave roads. Despite its alarming side effects, this toxic chemical is still used in food and cosmetics. Why is it still allowed? It must be banned!” This statement reflects her advocacy for stricter regulations on potentially harmful substances.
