Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, has recently expressed her views on several political issues via social media. Her tweets have drawn attention to topics concerning foreign influence in American politics and international alliances.
On June 10, 2025, Luna addressed the issue of banning certain organizations from the Capitol. She stated, “I have talked to @SpeakerJohnson about banning @codepink from the Capitol. Given that they are foreign funded and directly tied to China, they have no right to interfere with American politics and have no place in the US Capitol.” She indicated that Speaker Johnson is looking into this matter immediately.
The following day, June 11, 2025, Luna turned her attention to NATO by encouraging her followers to read a thread shared by @DataRepublican. In her post she noted: “Read this thread. Another good find from @DataRepublican . NATO is not what you think it is. It has been perverted from the original purpose.”
Shortly thereafter on the same day, she directed another message at Senator Josh Hawley by sharing a link with minimal commentary: “. @HawleyMO Read this.”
Anna Paulina Luna has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Charlie Crist and previously held a position in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and now residing in St. Petersburg, she holds a BS degree from the University of West Florida.
