Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, has been vocal on social media regarding various issues. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, Luna moved to St. Petersburg and pursued her education at the University of West Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017.
On June 21, 2025, Luna expressed gratitude towards public figures by stating “Thank you @TheoVon and @RoKhanna :)”.
The following day, on June 22, she conveyed her thoughts on national security and peace by tweeting “May God protect our brave service members until they return home safely, along with our foreign service officers and the dedicated men and women of the State Department. Pray for our country. We need peace.”
Later that day, Luna addressed international relations and human rights concerns with strong remarks about the United Nations and China: “NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO LEAVE THE UN! China lecturing the US on the UN charter is really rich. They commit human rights abuses and send spy balloons over the US.”
Anna Paulina Luna has served in both state-level politics as a member of the Florida House of Representatives before transitioning to federal representation.
