Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, shared a series of posts on her official X account in late February 2026 addressing topics ranging from national pride to political discourse.
On February 21, Luna expressed support for American athletes following recent Olympic events. She wrote: “So impressed with team USA! We had some wonderful OLYMPIANS! Well done all! You made us proud!!! “
Later that day, Luna commented on criticism directed at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s background as a bartender before entering politics. In her post dated February 21, she stated: “I dont agree with a lot @AOC does and I can debate with her on it but to knock her or anyone for being a bartender is not a “hit,” it’s tone deaf. Plenty of people don’t come from political pedigree. There are plenty of people who go through school etc and are hardworking”.
On February 22, Luna posted simply: “FYSA!”
Anna Paulina Luna began serving in the U.S. Congress in 2023 after replacing Charlie Crist as the representative for Florida’s 13th district. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida (2017). Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, Luna currently resides in St. Petersburg.
