Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who represents Florida’s 13th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on her social media account on October 14, 2025, addressing NATO’s current objectives and honoring a figure named Charlie.
In her first post of the day, Luna questioned the alliance’s approach to international relations, writing, “Why does NATO continue to act as if we are in the Cold War? NATO ‘s #1 objective should be PEACE. Clinton supported RUSSIA joining NATO. THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT WANT WAR WITH RUSSIA.” The post was published on October 14, 2025.
Shortly after, Luna shared another message that appeared to commemorate an individual named Charlie: “Happy Birthday Charlie. Today we honor you with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.” This was posted on October 14, 2025.
Later that day, Luna posted a brief follow-up statement: “Charlie was right.” The tweet was made on October 14, 2025.
Anna Paulina Luna has served as a member of Congress for Florida’s 13th district since 2023 and succeeded former U.S. Representative Charlie Crist. Before her tenure in Congress, Luna served in the Florida House of Representatives and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida in 2017. She was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg.
