Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, recently expressed her views on social media regarding civil unrest and proposed legislative measures. Her posts have sparked discussions about law enforcement and domestic terrorism designations.
On June 9, 2025, Luna commented on recent riots occurring in California. She stated, “Notice how these riots never happen in red states. California can blame Trump all it wants, but this chaos is the direct result of YEARS of soft-on-crime, pro-criminal policies. This would NEVER happen under real law & order leadership.”
Later that day, Luna announced her intention to introduce legislation aimed at classifying ANTIFA as a terrorist organization. She argued that while peaceful protest is acceptable, “Masked violence and coordinate terror campaigns are un-American.”
In a subsequent post on the same day, Luna posed a question to her audience: “Should Antifa be designated a terrorist organization?” This inquiry further emphasizes her stance on the matter.
Anna Paulina Luna has been serving in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Charlie Crist. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently residing in St. Petersburg, she graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017.
