Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who represents Florida’s 13th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on February 25, 2026, focusing on bipartisan support for election security measures and recent developments related to the State of the Union address.

In one tweet from February 25, Luna wrote: “The ONLY issue from the entire SOTU that got both Democrat and Republican members out of their seats. This is the most bipartisan issue on Capitol Hill. Let’s get it done.” She did not specify which issue was referenced but emphasized its broad support across party lines.

Later that day, Luna highlighted Senate Republican Leader John Thune’s involvement in election security efforts: “Leader Thune is going to be the reason why our elections are secured from here on out if he does this! Well done @LeaderJohnThune. It’s time to get it done.”

In a third post, Luna thanked former President Donald Trump for mentioning a legislative proposal during his State of the Union speech: “THANK YOU President Trump for giving the SAVE America Act a shout out in your SOTU speech. Americans on BOTH sides of the aisle agree that this is one of, if not THE MOST important issue in our country right now for securing our elections and saving our country.”

Anna Paulina Luna has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Charlie Crist. She previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida, awarded in 2017. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, Luna currently resides in St. Petersburg.
