Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 13th district, recently shared her views on various political matters through social media posts. Luna has been serving in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Charlie Crist and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives.
On February 4, 2025, Rep. Luna expressed concerns about oversight related to USAID funding. She stated that “Some of my colleagues are hiding the fact that USAID largely went without oversight. Hence the shady things it was funding.” She also mentioned that “@RepEliCrane wanted to defund it last Congress and it was ignored.“
Later that day, she acknowledged the efforts of the Secretary of Defense with a brief message: “Well done @SecDef !“
In another post on February 4, 2025, Rep. Luna highlighted a significant development regarding Robert Kennedy Jr.’s nomination by the Senate Finance Committee. She remarked that “The @SenFinance Committee has finally voted to advance @RobertKennedyJr’s nomination! Next up, the full Senate will vote on his confirmation.” She added that “America will be watching closely!“
