Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, recently shared her views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Luna, who succeeded Charlie Crist in 2023 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, often uses social media to communicate her positions on national and international matters.
On June 5, 2025, Luna tweeted “S is for Subpoena”, suggesting potential legal actions or inquiries without further elaboration.
Later that day, she posted another tweet at 12:31 PM UTC stating “This timeline isn’t random, it’s a pattern: 2019: Trump pressures China on trade… suddenly, COVID hits. 2025: Trump ramps up tariffs on China… suddenly, a bioweapon attack is stopped.” This message implies a correlation between former President Trump’s policies towards China and significant global events.
In another tweet from June 5 at 1:56 PM UTC, Luna expressed concerns about foreign policy and NATO relations by saying “There are members in our own chambers pushing for war with Russia— and certain NATO allies would rather drag the U.S. into conflict than support our current push for PEACE. Let’s be clear: The U.S. is NATO’s largest funder. If they won’t stand behind peace, we should PULL ALL”. Here she questions the motives of some NATO allies regarding peace efforts and suggests reconsidering the United States’ financial commitments to NATO if peace is not prioritized.
Anna Paulina Luna was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the University of West Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
