Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, shared several updates through her social media posts on June 19 and 20, 2025.
On June 19, Rep. Luna expressed her pride in congratulating “FL-13’s newest Service Academy appointees”. The appointees include Gianna Talarico and William Breckinridge to the U.S. Naval Academy, and Clare Booe to the U.S. Military Academy. She remarked on sending them off that morning.
Later that day, she highlighted an upcoming hearing led by Rep. Van Drew in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight. The focus of this hearing is foreign influence in the United States, particularly concerning George Soros. She noted “This is just the first of many hearings to come” and emphasized its significance as a step forward under his chairmanship.
On June 20, Luna discussed recent developments involving declassified FBI documents revealing a plot by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to influence the 2020 election with fake ballots. She mentioned former President Trump’s intent to appoint a special prosecutor for further investigation into these allegations, stating “THIS is the accountability the American people want to see!”
Anna Paulina Luna has been active in her role since replacing Charlie Crist in Congress in 2023 after serving previously in the Florida House of Representatives.
