Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, posted a series of statements on her Twitter account on May 12, 2026, criticizing Senate leadership and calling for legislative action on insider trading and pesticide regulation.

In a post made at 01:39 UTC, Luna wrote: “Leader Thune continues to BLOCK the SAVE America Act and now he wants to shield pesticide corporations from liabilities. Until Thune removes the filibuster and calls the vote for SAVE America, the House will block every piece of legislation he sends over.”

Later that morning at 02:28 UTC, she addressed concerns about financial ethics in Congress by stating: “Some members of Congress are making millions upon millions in insider trading. It is time to put the legislation to ban insider trading to a vote.”

At 11:36 UTC on the same day, Luna raised alarms regarding chemical use in agriculture and its potential health impacts: “We are facing a massive population decline and John Thune thinks it’s a good time to shill for pesticide manufacturers. For those who don’t know, a lot of the crap they are spraying on our food during farming IS causing cancer… especially in kids. Not to mention the KNOWN”

Anna Paulina Luna assumed office after replacing Charlie Crist in 2023 and has previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, she currently resides in St. Petersburg and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida (see background information from her official biography).
