U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who serves Florida’s 13th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on May 2 and 3, 2026, addressing internal House GOP leaks and criticizing media coverage related to efforts to remove liability protections for pesticide companies.
In a tweet dated May 2, Luna stated: “After our fight to remove liability protections for pesticide companies, someone from within the House GOP leaked our offices’ internal communications to the Wall Street Journal. This should go to show America how out of touch DC is, as the whole entire crux of the WSJ article https://t.co/Z1UmjlLyGC”.
Later that day, Luna commented directly on the author of the Wall Street Journal article: “And btw, this is the journalist who wrote the coordinated hit piece, @KimStrassel, a proven grade A neocon who is now defending pesticide corporations over the American people. Unfortunately Kim has a longstanding record as a corporate mouthpiece disguised as a journalist. She https://t.co/Wdfjzt9DLA”.
On May 3, Luna shared concern about an unspecified incident: “This is so upsetting. Andy and I are praying everyone is okay. https://t.co/13zvIZW9jf”.

Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently residing in St. Petersburg, she graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017.
