Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on September 4, 2025, addressing public health policy, congressional ethics, and violence in Chicago.

In her first tweet at 17:18 UTC, Luna criticized the pharmaceutical industry and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), writing: “America is the sickest country in the world, and it’s by design. Big Pharma rakes in billions keeping us sick while the CDC plays along. I urge @SecKennedy to FIRE EVERY corrupt CDC bureaucrat. We can’t Make America Healthy Again with a CDC bought by Pharma.”

Later that day at 19:53 UTC, Luna announced new legislative efforts targeting insider trading among lawmakers: “We have introduced bipartisan legislation to stop members of congress from insider trading and trading stocks. Just as there is bipartisan support, there is also bipartisan opposition, but we are NOT backing down.”

At 21:19 UTC on September 4, Luna highlighted a recent homicide in Chicago by posting: “This is Dejah Manning, 26, who was one of several Americans murdered in Chicago last weekend. Do Black Lives Matter to @JBPritzker @ChicagosMayor?”

Anna Paulina Luna began serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 13th District after replacing Charlie Crist in 2023.
