Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, has recently addressed several national issues in a series of social media posts.

On February 18, 2026, Luna commented on developments related to an ongoing New York case, stating, “This email was sent by a woman named Nadia. The same Nadia that was listed as co-conspirator in the NY case. She was then given a plea deal and ‘victim’ status. There’s a big difference between minors that were victimized versus ones that became adults and then chose to do”.

Later the same day, Luna discussed changes in gas prices in Florida under President Trump’s administration. She wrote on February 18, 2026: “President Trump has unleashed American energy, and Floridians are now feeling the benefits at the pump. EIA data shows Florida’s average regular gas price is down about 12% from January 2025 to January 2026. That is REAL savings for working families, commuters, and small”.

On February 19, 2026, Luna called for legislative reform in the Senate regarding election laws: “The Senate has 0 excuse to not embrace the talking filibuster and pass voter ID.”

Anna Paulina Luna began serving as the representative for Florida’s 13th district after succeeding Charlie Crist in 2023. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, Luna currently resides in St. Petersburg and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida.
