Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on March 16, 2026, expressing her views on congressional reform and criticizing Senate Republicans.

In one post, Luna called for significant changes to the legislative process: “It is time for a convention of states. Congress will never term limit itself… and as you are seeing it is broken. Too many of these cats get up to DC and hop onto the uniparty train. The problem is the uniparty doesn’t work for you! It works for special interest.” (March 16, 2026)

She continued with another statement: “We the People > Corrupt Senators” (March 16, 2026).

In a subsequent tweet, Luna criticized Senate Republicans’ legislative priorities: “All @SenateGOP legislation will now die in the house for their failure to get VOTER ID passed into law. Meanwhile they had dog parades, went on CODELS, pushed for payment in lawsuits that personally benefited themselves, etc…. Yet they could NOT debate Voter ID? SMH.” (March 16, 2026)

Anna Paulina Luna succeeded Charlie Crist in representing Florida’s 13th district in Congress after serving previously in the Florida House of Representatives. She was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg. Luna graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017.
