In a post dated February 19, Luna wrote, “Attention Florida 13! Our application period for Appropriations and Community Funding Requests opens up on Friday Feb 20th and will close at 5pm on Friday March 6th. Visit https://t.co/wqamvz4KIO starting TOMORROW to apply! https://t.co/dcBO5OQKRe”. The announcement highlights the timeline for constituents in Florida’s 13th district to submit their requests.
Earlier that same day, Luna also expressed appreciation toward Chairman Gruters by stating, “Thank you for the common sense @ChairmanGruters https://t.co/wai0H4I4xK” in a separate tweet. In another post minutes later, she added, “This is the way. https://t.co/91NQcYSCkW”.
Anna Paulina Luna has represented Florida’s 13th congressional district since replacing Charlie Crist in 2023. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and resides in St. Petersburg. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989, Luna earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida in 2017.
