Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district, posted a series of statements on January 5, 2026, addressing issues ranging from national security to public health and corporate accountability.

In her first post of the day, Luna commented on recent disclosures regarding U.S. operations abroad: “The leaks to the Press regarding the Venezula mission is dangerous. Anyone who saw those plans needs to be polygraphed.” (January 5, 2026). The statement reflects concern over media leaks involving sensitive government activities related to Venezuela.

Shortly after, Luna expressed support for Senator Marco Rubio in a brief message: “Based Rubio.” (January 5, 2026).

Later that afternoon, Luna addressed legislative matters concerning pesticide regulations: “I will be co-sponsoring. This is completely wrong, and some of these pesticides are linked to cancer and infertility. Why on earth would we want to shield the companies? This is not benefiting the American people at all. This needs to be removed.” (January 5, 2026).

Anna Paulina Luna has represented Florida’s 13th District in Congress since replacing Charlie Crist in 2023. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Florida House of Representatives and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida in 2017. Luna was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg.
