Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who represents Florida’s 13th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on July 17, 2025, addressing issues ranging from threats of violence to school funding and actions against Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
In her first tweet at 20:59 UTC, Luna wrote, “Please text my cell, I will forward this to law enforcement immediately. Threats of violence and assassination should be taken very seriously. Hope you’re ok, we’ll talk soon @NICKIMINAJ https://t.co/uFGDK0tWOH”.
Less than an hour later, at 21:50 UTC, she addressed concerns about school funding: “Absolutely, we are writing a letter to unfreeze funds immediately! Please see video below. We are huge supporters and voted to get all the funding for our wonderful schools back home! 🙂

Later that evening at 22:28 UTC, Luna tweeted about taking legal action regarding the head of the Federal Reserve: “I am criminally referring Jerome Powell to the DOJ to investigate perjury regarding his crazy $2.5BN building.”
Anna Paulina Luna has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after succeeding Charlie Crist and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently residing in St. Petersburg, Luna graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida in 2017.
