Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th District since 2023, recently addressed several issues through her social media posts. Luna, who succeeded Charlie Crist and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, commented on Secret Service disciplinary actions, corporate accountability for child labor violations, and an upcoming event appearance.
On July 10, 2025, Luna criticized recent disciplinary measures taken against Secret Service agents following an assassination attempt on the president. She stated: “Suspending 6 secret service agents for 10-42 days without pay is nothing more than a glorified vacation. Our president was nearly assassinated. We still don’t know what happened to the shooter’s burner phones. Who was he corresponding with? Did he have a handler?”
In a post dated July 11, 2025, Luna addressed congressional inaction regarding penalties for corporations hiring migrant children as laborers. She wrote: “Congress has refused to act on harsher penalties for corporations hiring migrant children as labor and it is unacceptable. Tyson Foods, along with Perdue Farms, were also busted for employing migrant children in hazardous conditions at their poultry processing plants.”
On July 11, 2025, Luna indicated her participation in an upcoming event by posting: “See you this weekend, SAS!”
Anna Paulina Luna was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the University of West Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
