On March 7, 2025, Luna highlighted the issue of high credit card interest rates by stating “Most Americans agree that insane credit card interest rates are PREDATORY and need to stop!” She announced her collaboration with fellow representatives and senators to introduce bipartisan legislation aimed at capping these rates at 10%.
Continuing her stance against high-interest rates, Luna tweeted on March 8, 2025, “For too long, credit card companies have abused working class Americans with absurd interest rates…” She emphasized the necessity for a fair solution by implementing a reasonable cap on these rates.
In another tweet posted later on March 8, 2025, Luna addressed concerns about political rhetoric and its consequences. She remarked “The rise in violent threats against @elonmusk is directly correlated to the unhinged rhetoric coming from Democrats.” She linked this rhetoric to an assassination attempt on former President Trump and criticized it as dangerous and irresponsible.
