Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 13th district since 2023, recently addressed several national issues through a series of posts on social media. Luna, who succeeded Charlie Crist and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, shared updates regarding classified documents, cryptocurrency policy, and legislative procedures.
On July 15, 2025, Luna announced the release of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy: “Thru the work of my Task Force, the Admin has released tens of thousands of previously classified documents pertaining to the JFK assassination. Without a doubt, based on substantive evidence, the CIA engaged in a cover up. The CIA lied to Congress. And CIA operative Joannides”.
Later that day, Luna commented on her stance regarding cryptocurrency legislation: “I support crypto but cannot get behind anything that allows for a backdoor to CBDC. There was a vote to allow legislation to come to the floor that would enable that to happen. Thus I voted no. Happy to support any pro-crypto bill, but I will NOT back CBDC’s.” (July 15, 2025).
In another post on July 15, 2025, Luna clarified procedural details about congressional votes concerning the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein: “The House GOP conference as a whole did not vote to block the release of the Epstein files. There was a procedural vote that, if failed, would have given Democrats control of the House. If you pull up the “previous question” language you will not find anything re: Epstein.”
Anna Paulina Luna was born in Santa Ana, California in 1989 and currently resides in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the University of West Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
